SiteReady is operated by [Legal entity name] Pty Ltd, ABN [number] (we, us, our). You can contact us at sitereadyaus@gmail.com.
These terms apply to the business that holds a SiteReady account and to the people that business adds to its account (you, your). If you accept these terms for a business, you confirm that you are 18 or older and have authority to bind it. By using SiteReady you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. Workers who sign on to a SWMS by QR code are covered by section 10, not by the rest of these terms.
SiteReady is a business tool. It is made for businesses that carry out construction and other work under Australian work health and safety law, or the equivalent occupational health and safety law in a state or territory, and we assume you use it in that capacity.
SiteReady takes the admin out of writing safe work method statements (SWMS). It turns the task you describe, and the answers you give, into a draft SWMS laid out in the usual format, with job steps, hazards, controls and references to the legislation and codes of practice it used.
SiteReady produces drafts from a rules library we maintain, taken from legislation and codes of practice. It does not use artificial intelligence. The output is generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions.
SiteReady prepares drafts only. It does not approve, certify or sign a SWMS, and a draft from SiteReady is not an approved or legally checked SWMS. It does not tell you whether a SWMS is required for a particular task, and it does not replace a competent person, a safety adviser or legal advice.
SiteReady prepares drafts for every Australian state and territory, using each one's list of high risk construction work and fall height. Drafts for every state and territory cite the section of that state's regulation next to controls taken from the law, Queensland drafts cite the Queensland approved codes of practice, and New South Wales drafts cite the SafeWork NSW codes of practice. Victoria's occupational health and safety law is not the model Work Health and Safety Act, so Victorian citations are to the Victorian regulations only, and the wording of some controls follows the model laws. If you work under a different safety regime, the references may not apply.
The business that does the work stays responsible for its SWMS, as it is under work health and safety law or the equivalent law in that place. Nothing in SiteReady transfers that responsibility to us.
Before a SWMS from SiteReady is used, a competent person in your business must:
Before each download, SiteReady asks you to confirm that you will do this and records the name of the person confirming on the SWMS. By confirming, you warrant to us that the steps above will be carried out before the SWMS is relied on.
If you share a SWMS with someone outside your business, you are responsible for what they do with it. We have no obligation to them.
We work to keep SiteReady's rules library accurate and current, but legislation, codes of practice and site conditions change, and SiteReady cannot see your site. We do not guarantee that a draft is complete, correct or suitable for your work. References to legislation and codes are a guide to where a control comes from, not legal advice.
We do not guarantee that SiteReady will be available at all times or free of faults. We may take it offline for maintenance, and we may change or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what you pay for, we will tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect and you may cancel under section 14.
A new business gets one free 14 day trial with full use. A business may not take more than one trial. We may refuse or end a trial where we reasonably believe it is being used to get around this.
After the trial, downloading, saving and sharing need a subscription. Drafting without downloading stays free unless we tell you otherwise.
You can cancel at any time from the Billing page. The subscription then ends at the end of the period already paid, and that period is not refunded except where the law requires, or where section 12 or section 14 says we will refund an unused part.
Your saved SWMS and sites are kept for 12 months after you stop paying, so you can resubscribe and pick up where you left off. After that we may delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner, and we will do so within 30 days.
The person who creates a business account is its administrator. The administrator is responsible for who is added to the account, for their use of SiteReady, and for removing people who leave. Everyone with access must keep their login, email and devices secure and must not share their login. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance by our payment provider, Stripe, at the price shown when you subscribe. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST (goods and services tax). We do not see or store your full card details. The payment provider's own terms apply to how it handles them.
We may change our prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change applies to you. If you do not accept the new price you can cancel before it takes effect, and the old price applies until then.
If a payment fails we will let you know and retry. If it is still unpaid after 7 days we may suspend downloading, saving and sharing until it is paid. You stay responsible for any amount owing, and that responsibility continues after these terms end.
You keep ownership of what you enter and of the SWMS you download. You give us a licence to store, process and display that content so we can provide the service to you, to use it in de-identified form to improve SiteReady's rules library, and to prepare industry statistics as set out in section 8. We own the industry statistics we produce. You must have the right to use any logo, company details or other material you add, and you are responsible for it.
We own SiteReady, including the software, the rules library, the SWMS templates and layouts, the wording of hazards and controls, and our name and branding. While you have an account we give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use SiteReady for your own business. You must not copy, resell, sublicense or reverse engineer SiteReady, or extract the rules library or templates for use outside the service, other than in the SWMS you download for your own work.
We combine de-identified information from SWMS into industry statistics. The information used is limited to the state, the postcode, the trade, the type of work and job steps, the controls chosen (recorded as fixed categories, not the words you type), high risk work categories, plant and licence classes, the general type of project, and the month. It is kept separately from your account and is never linked back to it.
These statistics never include your name, your business name, your workers, your site address, your logo or anything you type in free text. We only report a figure where it combines at least 10 separate businesses, counting a sole trader as one business, and we do not report figures that would let one business be worked out by elimination.
We may share or sell these statistics to third parties such as insurers, industry bodies, training providers and researchers. Anyone we supply them to must agree not to try to identify any business or person from them and not to pass them on.
You can opt out. Email us at any time and we will leave your business's SWMS out of industry statistics from the date we receive your request. Opting out does not affect your subscription or the service you receive.
SWMS created before 3 October 2026 are not used for industry statistics that we share or sell.
SiteReady does not send your content to an artificial intelligence provider. Do not enter personal information about workers beyond what a SWMS needs.
Your data is hosted in Singapore by our hosting provider. We take reasonable steps to protect it, including encrypting connections to SiteReady, but no online service is completely secure.
How we collect, use and disclose personal information is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
You can export your saved SWMS at any time while your account is active. On deletion, your content is removed from our live systems within 30 days, and from backups as they are replaced.
A worker who opens a sign-on link can see the SWMS's task, high risk work, job steps and PPE so they know what they are signing. When they sign, SiteReady records their name, their employer's name, their finger signature and the time, and holds that record for the business that owns the SWMS. The worker is not a party to these terms and takes on no obligation to us by signing on. Our privacy policy explains how their details are handled and how they can contact us.
You must not:
We may suspend or close your account, or a user's access, if you breach these terms, if a payment is overdue, if we reasonably believe the account is being misused or compromised, or if the law requires it. Except where we need to act at once to protect the service or other users, we will tell you first and give you a reasonable chance to fix the problem.
We may stop offering SiteReady altogether. If we do, we will give you at least 60 days' notice and refund any part of a subscription period you have paid for but not used.
On termination for any reason, your right to use SiteReady ends. Sections 3, 4, 5 (data retention and deletion), 6 (fees owing), 7, 8, 9, 13 and 15 continue to apply.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where our liability for breach of a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Our liability to you. Subject to the paragraph above, and to the extent the law allows:
Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Your liability to us. You will reimburse us for any claim by a third party, and the reasonable costs of dealing with it, that arises from a SWMS prepared with SiteReady being used without the review required in section 3, or from content you add that infringes someone else's rights or is unlawful. This does not apply to the extent we, or our negligence, caused the claim.
We may change these terms where we need to: to reflect a change in the law or in the codes and regulations SiteReady draws on; to add, change or remove features; to change our prices under section 6; to improve security or prevent misuse; or to correct an error or make the terms clearer.
For minor changes, such as clarifications or new features that do not reduce what you pay for, we will update the date at the top. For changes that materially affect your rights, your data or what you pay, we will email the account administrator at least 30 days before they take effect and explain what is changing. If you do not accept a material change, you can cancel before it takes effect and we will refund any unused part of the period you have paid for. Continuing to use SiteReady after a change takes effect means you accept it.
Law and courts. These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and courts able to hear appeals from them.
Disputes. If there is a dispute, contact us first at sitereadyaus@gmail.com and we will try to resolve it with you within 30 days before either of us starts legal action, except where urgent relief is needed.
Notices. We send notices to the email address of the account administrator. You send notices to sitereadyaus@gmail.com. A notice sent by email is taken to be received the next business day.
Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent, which we will not unreasonably withhold. We may transfer ours to a buyer of the business, and will tell you if we do.
Entire agreement. These terms, the privacy policy and the pricing shown when you subscribe are the whole agreement between you and us about SiteReady. This does not exclude any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Severability. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a term, we can still enforce it later.
